Lindsey & Darryl | 25th January 2012

Wednesday Wedding! Day before Australia day (I guess so they could party, then sleep in on the public holiday!) Lindsey & Darryl live in Darwin and came down for their amazing Wedding. They both stayed in some apartments in Hawthorn, where we took preparation shots of each separately, then Darryl came to Lindsey’s to see her in her gown for the first time! We photographed around the city and ended up at Leonda by the Yarra for the ceremony followed by reception. Visan from Visan Makeup was responsible for the awesome makeup & Bruce from Bruce Harrison Events supplied the great entertainment for the evening. Lindsey worked the camera great, and Darryl did ok too ;-D, check out a few highlights;

Vicky & Steve | 22nd January 2012

I’d photographed Steve’s sister’s Wedding a few years back, so now it was his turn. Apart from the extreme heat/sun, we had an awesome day! Obvious highlights the massive Kenwood truck and Vicky in her gorgeous Annette of Melbourne dress! Both from Macedonian heritage, we had the traditions in the morning followed by St Ilija Orthodox Church in Footscray and some family/portrait shots at Footscray Town Hall. We headed into the city for some shots, and also Polly Bar in Fitzroy and ended up at The Manor on High reception in Epping. Check out a few shots;

Sharni & Aidan | 17th December 2011

I met Sharni & Aidan through Aidan’s mum Jenny who I’ve known for a while. Jenny is also a photographer I worked with sometime ago and was quite excited to be shooting her son’s Wedding (and nervous also, shooting another photographer’s event!) We started off in Hawthorn at Sharni & Aidan’s place to shoot Aidan & the boys, then onto an apartment where Sharni & the girls were. The ceremony onwards was all held at Bram Leigh Receptions, an awesome venue. Christian from Image Weddings was the celebrant, Con from JCJags for cars & Sergio from Party Hire Productions as DJ, check out a few highlights;

Mel & Steve | 10th December 2011

Melbourne Weather!!! It was literally 4 seasons in one day on Mel & Steve’s Wedding Day down in Sorrento. Mel’s originally from Sydney, so all her family came down to celebrate, so ‘melbourne weather’ was a topic of discussion. The couple weren’t too fussed though which was great. We photographed preparations at 2 separate hoses, then went to the The Baths for their ceremony onwards. The rain stopped and the dark clouds worked in our favor for an awesome sky backdrop, check out a few shots;

Candice & Aldrin | 3rd December 2011

I met Candice & Aldrin at a mutual friends’ party. Since then we caught up to run through their Wedding Photography, and their day finally came around. It was a beautiful day all round, and I had a lot of fun with the whole party. We shot house coverages followed by their ceremony at St Michael’s in the City. After a few city locations we hit Carlton Gardens and The Polly Lounge, ending up at The Manor on High;

Marina & Anthony | 26th November 2011

Rain, rain, go away! Unfortunately it didn’t, but the under cover & indoor shots we did more than made up for it. We started with shots at Anthony’s, then Marina’s followed by their Greek Church in Northcote. We took the opportunity of a break in the rain to get a group shot & family shots which was great. After a failed attempt at doing an outdoor shoot at Carlton Gardens (started bucketing down) we proceeded to the GPO and then a cafe they booked which looked amazing. We ended up at Luxor Function Centre, check out the shots;

Sally & Peter | 20th November 2011

Sally & Peter came to me through Lidia & Joe who I’d shot a little while ago. The day turned out great apart from the wind, at least we got a few flowing veil shots! I started off at Sally’s while my colleague Paul shot at Peter’s. The ceremony was held at Mill Park Macedonian Church followed by shots at Carlton Gardens and then on to Collins St in the city. We had just enough time to sneak in a few shots at Polly Bar in Fitzroy, and then ended up at Lakeside Reception. I had a physical challenge by the best man to have these shots up ASAP, so here they are;
