Kris photographed Lisa + Omur’s Wedding on Saturday. We met Lisa when we photographed her brother Simon (+ Maria’s) Wedding several years ago,

It turned out to be a beautiful day. After photos in the morning at home, we went to a few city locations as well as docklands before arriving at Lakeside Receptions for the ceremony followed by the evening’s festivities.

Levi had his Christening at the beautiful Sherwood Receptions on Sunday the 14th of September 2014.sherwood reception

I photographed Lidia & Joe’s little one Levi’s Christening yesterday, and what a gorgeous day for it! The little guy was a little serious to start off with but still very cute, and at least he wasn’t crying. He did open up as the day want and we got a few smiles which was great.

I also photographed Lidia & Joe’s Wedding a few years ago – a Wedding I’ll never forget, one of the biggest down pours of hail I think Melbourne’s seen, and lucky they’d booked an indoor location to go to which we ended up with great photos!

I love catching up with past couples who’ve since created families. I photographed Rose & Sash’s Wedding around 5 years ago now, and they came in with their 3 gorgeous boys – Thomas, Michael & Oliver. We had an awesome time jumping around and having fun and got some great shots, here are a few.

I couldn’t resist, was going through the shots again and this one just popped out!Lidija & Matthew Highlight

It was the obvious love these two had for each other and the coming together of both their vibrant cultures which made this an event to remember. Usually when we capture the Wedding of a mixed heritage couple, one tends to dominate, even just a little, but there was equal elements from both that made it so interesting – Lidija is of Macedonian heritage and Matthew is of Lebanese/Italian background.

From the morning, the festivity was on when Matthew’s best mate/man came over to Lidija’s house with her shoes (Macedonian tradition), then Matthew’s parents, family & friends came over to pick up the Bride (shared tradition) with more traditional music while Matthew waited patiently at Our Lady Of Lebanon Church in Thornbury.

After we photographed a few locations with the weather holding out for us, the couple entered their reception in true Lebanese style (Zaffe) where the bride & groom enter with Lebanese drumming and dancers with swords, awesome!

Congratulations guys, myself and I’m sure the whole reception had an awesome time, check out a few highlights,
